Al Shabab militias have captured El Wak, Somalia.  

According to information received from El Wak, Kenya over 4000 heavily armed Al Shabab militias attacked the government position while the government militia were still asleep this Sunday morning Sept. 11, 2011. Although very high numbers of casualties were reported, so far, only one of the 23 wounded people that were brought to El Wak Kenya has been confirmed dead.  

 It was said that in recent week, the government militias have been accused of selling their weapons and were under investigation. subsequently, some of their weaponries have been confiscated from them. So, Al Shabab seized the opportunity and grabbed it. Now, they are in control of El Wak Somalia and no one knows how many dead from both side and also, no one knows how many may have been captured at this time
